这学期刚开学我买了一本书，它的名子叫《格列佛游记》。它是英国作家乔纳森斯威夫。小说以辛辣的讽刺与幽默、离奇的想象与夸张，描述了酷爱航海冒险的格列佛。
游记中的小人国，大人国里光怪离奇的故事深深地吸引了我，然而给我印象最深的是99年格列佛和船长大威廉皮得查一起到南太平洋去航行。身为外科医生的格列佛随船航行到南太平洋，不幸中途遇险。格列佛死里逃生，漂到海岸上。当他苏醒过来的时候，惊讶地发现自己已被细细的绳子捆住了，而周围都是比他小十二倍的“小人”。在那里有两座小人岛，每个岛屿上有一个国王。其中，一个岛屿上的国王很恶毒，贪婪想要利用格列佛这个“巨人”占领另一个岛屿，他们想哄好格列佛，于是，每天早晨提供六头牛、四十只羊和其他食物供格列佛食用。此外，还有相应数量的面包、酒和其他饮料，并派名仆人分列在格列佛卧室的两侧，另外还派遣3名裁缝师傅为格列佛做一套小人国的民族服装。派出名著名学者教格列佛小人国的语言。但格列佛不想发起战争，只想维护小人国的和平。在格列佛的努力下，他们这间的斗争终于结束了。格列佛成功了。但国王却想害死他，最后格列佛用一种奇特的方法离开了小人国，终于回到了英国。

看完《格列佛游记》之后，我们不能不审视自己，我们身上到底有没有这些顽疾劣根的影子。贪婪、党争、伪善、残暴、愤怒、疯狂、怨恨、妒嫉、淫欲、阴险和野心。文中人则化作脏臭、屎尿横飞，贪婪刁难的下等动物。它大谈人的人性，就是心甘情愿被金钱所奴役，不是奢侈浪费就是贪得无厌。
有句话我认为评论得很经典，以夸张渲染时代的生气、籍荒唐痛斥时代的弊端。在厌根和悲欢背后，这是一种苦涩的忧世情怀。
没有想到那些在那些朴实得如同流水帐的大白话游记中，竟蕴含着这么深邃的内涵。我期盼着有一天我们的社会也像慧因国，孩子们的眼中不再有疑虑，教育与现实是统一的。我愿为此付出努力，也希望大家与我一道，从自己做起，从现在开始做起，让这个社会多一点真诚、少一点虚伪。

刚开始读时，我以为这只是一本奇幻小说，但在精读之后，才知道，这是一本讽刺小说。整书分为四部分，写的是一位叫格列佛的英国的航海奇遇。第一部分写了他漂流到一个小人国，然而小人国的统治阶级野心勃勃明争暗斗。而且小人国里政治腐败，百姓生活在重压之下。格列佛在那里消耗了不少粮食，但也替他们作战，最后遭到国王的猜忌，只得离开。
第二部分写了格列佛又到了一个巨人国，这里的国王治国有方。格列佛被当做一头聪明的.小动物，几经转折，进了王宫，见到了国王。和国王谈他自己心目中的开明君主，同时对种种不合理的社会制度如议会、司法、教会、财政等方面的不合理因素给以批评和揭露。
后来他又到了无名岛（一个当地人长相奇怪，可科学技术高的国家）和慧骃国（一个全是马的国家）。
在这本书作者描写的每一句话里，几乎都透露出作者对当时的社会的黑暗的愤恨和民众都被势力们欺压的感情。这使我想起了以前的中国，那时的地主和军阀让百姓生活在水深火热中，苦不堪言。两者之间的遭遇不是貌似一样吗？所以，现在的我们一定要好好学习，将来阻止这种现象的发生。
