2012年5月29日，吴斌驾驶杭州长运集团大型客车从无锡返回杭州，途中，一块从空中飞落的铁块迎面击碎车辆前挡风玻璃后，击中其腹部和手臂，导致肝脏破裂及肋骨多处骨折，肺、肠挫伤。在危急关头，吴斌强忍剧痛将车辆缓缓靠边停好，拉上手刹、开启双闪灯，完成一系列完整的安全停车措施后，又以惊人的毅力，从驾驶室艰难地站起来，告知车上旅客注意安全，然后打开车门，安全疏散旅客，最终成功挽救了24名乘客的生命。而吴斌却因伤势过重，经医院抢救无效，于2012年6月1日凌晨3时45分去世。正是因为他的责任心，从而拯救了24名乘客的生命，宁愿牺牲自己，也要拯救他人，这是多么可贵的精神啊！

It went to the point where some people probably thought that I was going to entertain them with music during the bleeding, which I certainly would not have refused to do, in spite of the amount of work I had to do, if the doctors hadn’t forbidden such an enjoyable treatment because they wouldn’t be able to hear the pulses of the patients.
Now, the next event was during the time I was conducting the Robin Hood Dell Orchestra in Philadelphia, also during the war. There was a terrific scandal of misguided youths in the high schools mistreating and insulting Jewish boys. Nobody seemed to be able to stop this tragic epidemic, either the teachers in the schools or the preachers in the churches. Finally, Mr. Samuels, at that time the mayor, had the inspired idea of bringing a popular movie star to speak to the various schools, an event which stopped, like a miracle, all those tragedies.
From that I developed the theory that all people who have the chance to enjoy the responsibility of being famous, regardless for what reason or in what profession, can be of a terrific help in this confused world of today—and in general, I would say—by setting an example of sound moral thinking and integrity, as human beings, as well as in their profession. I came even to the point of realizing that any skill of any kind, physical or mental, or any artistic achievement, unless it is based on a moral purpose, cannot claim to have any value or any plausible reason to exist.

现代社会，我们经常高举责任的旗帜，责任如此重要，那请问什么是责任呢？对此，通常可以分两个意义：一是指社会道德上，个体分内应做的事，如职责、尽责任、岗位责任等；二是指没有做好自己工作，而应该承担的不利后果或强制性义务。
责任是一个很宽泛的词，具体到各行各业，有不同的内涵，可以从不同领域和角度去划分。在这个没有规矩、不成方圆的社会，责任便是一种道德的升华、制度的延伸，可以是医德、师德、家庭美德等，一个责任感强的人往往给人一种安全感和可信赖感。
作为在药剂科的医务工作者，我们深知责任重于泰山。尤其是参加工作不久、在门诊西药房工作的我，颇感这份沉甸甸的责任。工作的每一个环节我们都是小心翼翼，从领药双人核对，到摆药仔细核对药名、标签、规格等，效期不同要放隔离牌警示并先发出，再到发给患者时进行“四查十对”：查处方，对科别、姓名、年龄；查药品，对药名、规格、数量；查配伍禁忌，对药品性状、用法用量；查用药合理性，对临床诊断。每一步都是严格执行，准确核对。对于医学专用药品和一类精神药品，我们更是规范发药流程，为首次开药患者建档，严格进行处方审核和病例审核，不可超量，并告知患者一经发出不再退换，不可给予他人使用，如有剩余无偿交回医院等。
我们每天接触大量患者，直接与患者面对面沟通交流，需要把好最后一道关。发药一旦出错，对于我们可能是偶尔的一次大意，而对于患者便是灾难，所致后果不可估量。这便要求我们时刻绷紧这根弦，不能放松，将差错率降到最低。虽然每天顶着如此巨大的压力，但是科里每位同事都毫无怨言，兢兢业业，即便有个别患者冲我们发脾气，我们也会耐心解释，因为我们深知医院是一个神圣的地方，是与生命打交道，与死神相抗衡，与病魔作斗争的地方。树立强烈的责任感，并以制度为根本，形成良好的问责机制。在日常工作中，认真做好本职工作，履行自己的职责，怀揣一颗责任心，对于失职渎职人员追究其责任，将内在约束和外在监督相结合，形成良好的责任导向。
谈到责任，从古至今，有诸葛孔明“鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已”的丞相之风，有顾炎武“天下兴亡，匹夫有责”的省人之叹，还有梁启超“人生须知负责任的苦处，才能知道尽责任的乐趣”。人们始终认为责任重于泰山，因此，当新时代的我们在大谈责任的同时，应默默扛起自己所应承担的责任，使我们的社会发展成为一个“老有所终，壮有所用， 幼有所长，矜、寡、孤、独、废疾者，皆有所养”的和谐社会。

孩子假期离家出走了，好像和老师没什么关系。这就是典型的家长不负责任的表现，他把属于家长的照顾孩子的责任推卸给学校，假如学校要对所有离家出走的学生，生病的学生、意外的学生全方位照顾的话，恐怕老师正常的教学工作和正常的生活规律都打乱了。家庭教育在孩子心理健康和道德修养方面比学校教育更为重要，毕竟家长是孩子的启蒙老师。我们要理解好学校责任的边界：学校该承担的责任必须要承担，但有些不是学校教育应该承担的责任不能大包大揽，把家长、社会等应承担的责任也承担起来。
